Here are links to other SOC websites
Also, there's a photo album below the links of our old alma mater, South Oak Cliff High School. The photos were taken on October 13, 2007. It still looks good . . . take a peek!!

These great photos of SOC were taken by my friend, Lonnie Harmon, from the class of '65. He's standing in front of the School sign! He attended the 45th reunion of the class of '62 which included a tour of SOC. He was kind enough to send me the photos. As you will see, some things have changed while others remain the same. They've added another wing, now there are two courtyards. The typing room has been replaced with computer labs, they have air conditioning, cold water in the drinking fountains and soda & junk food in vending machines! The Debs were changed to the Pivoteers in the early 70's. But the tradition of winning trophies in sports has continued! Notice how the trophy cases wind all down the hallway.
The young man in the ROTC uniform, Kelly, was the tour guide. He showed them everything, including the principal's office and the lunchroom which had a scrolling message sign. Lots of murals on the walls and a huge library that takes up one corner of the new wing. One other notable item. The gyms . . . Wayne Zablosky from class of '63 did the gym floors! Best I can remember, our gym floors were blank except for the basketball markings. Kelly also told them they now wear uniforms! I think SOC looks great and I'm still very proud to claim it as my alma mater!!
